Since it’s inception in 2014, The Green Youth Network has successfully hosted 7 Annual Green Youth Indaba conferences developing a network of over 10,000 young leaders from all across different parts of Southern Africa.
With the 2023 Theme focal on:
‘Promoting Youth Participation and Sustainable Skills Development For A Just Transition’ The 8th Annual Green Youth Indaba is set to return & take place from the 29th – 30 June. Hosted annually in June in celebration of ‘Youth Month’,over 700 young environmental leaders will gather together for a two-day session of discussions, workshops and networking to help generate solutions to the environmental challenges the world faces.
The conference also seeks to address the Youth Unemployment rate and lack of Skills Development amongst our youth with regards to the opportunities presented by a just transition.
